We’re proud to announce that, in cooperation with the Ligerbots (2877) and BERT (133), we’ve won the UNH event! More news to come soon.

We’re the Wire Clippers.

The Wire Clippers is a group of high schoolers passionate about STEAM and robotics. We participate in FRC, a yearly robotics competition run by FIRST® Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) that’s been encouraging students to learn skills in engineering, programming, and sustaining a business since its founding in Manchester, NH by Dean Kamen in 1989.

We’re completely self-funded and student-run. After our necessary fundraising efforts (which you can take part in), we have six weeks to build and program a robot to complete tasks. We’re a passionate little group that’s enthusiastic and driven.

Check out our blog for weekly updates!
