Today was another productive meeting in the maker space; the build team was able to put up the frame on the robot, and, after solving an issue with the measurements on lifting mechanism not making sense in relation to the rest of the robot (a challenge overcome by a few hasty calls to the shipyard to change our order), they continued working on the electronics board and servos.
The programming team also spent their time working on servos, hammering out the issues with the coding so the ball launcher can function, as well as laying down preliminary code for the fly wheels, in order to allow for faster and more efficient turns.
Lastly, the business team finished filming for the Chairman’s award, giving us enough footage to make the video. Once the editing is complete, along with the revisions on the essay and short answers, all we’ll have left to do is the presentation, after which we’ll finally be eligible to win the award.
