First off, we won! We went into the finals, teaming up with the Ligerbots (2877) and BERT (133). In the end (and after a few tight matches against the number one alliance on the board), we won the competition at UNH.

Build Team
We saw a few issues with our robot during competition, but nothing our build team couldn’t fix. We’ve been adjusting our belt, fixing our claw, replacing a burnt-out motor, and pulling out to the field in time for queueing.
Drive Team
The drive team did an amazing job driving us to a win at UNH this year. They had to deal with many issues with the robot, opponents constantly changing strategies, and our opponents needing to quickly swap team members after our friends at the Robo-Rangers had a malfunction on their robot.
Business Team
We’ve been dealing with administration at our school and Portsmouth Middle School. The goal? Organizing a few outreach events at PMS and at the Portsmouth Public Library. More projects from the business team are coming soon.
Closing Notes
We’ve started many post-season projects after winning the UNH competition. Everybody has been learning from our two seniors, who are passing down their positions and knowledge to our younger students. Also, on a more happy note, we have been doing outreach, trying to encourage 8th graders to join our team next year.
More to come soon – thanks for staying with us.
