Update 9 – we had a little too much fun

Welcome back to the blog! Cheers to another exciting blog! Currently, our Wire Clippers are excited about the break which is in t minus 2 days. If you guys are doing anything exciting over break feel free to put them in the comments. Recently on Tuesday, we went to Service Credit Union and had a blast practicing with other robotics teams like Oyster River’s Overdrive and Traip Academy’s Robo-Rangers. A big thank you to our amazing sponsor Service Credit Union who allowed us to do this. We are on full blast trying to get as much done before break, even though we are very excited for the break.

Business

Currently, our business team is continuing the good work they have been doing. This includes updating our social media with regular posts, checking us out on Instagram and Tiktok, and updating our blog. They have also been continuing their continuous search for new methods of fundraising and looking for more potential sponsors.

Build

The build team was quite busy today building all the features of the competition. We suffered a tragic loss after one of our rings was broken during the intensive session. But the build team is back on track and putting their full effort into preparing for the competition. In particular, we are upgrading our current design with some small changes to make climbing on the chain easier, and to make shooting into the amp easier.

Programming

Today was a fun day full of programming action. There were multiple shots taken to try and land the ring in the amp and speaker. We are still trying to get as many points as possible with all of the rings. Our teleoperation code is looking great, and we are beginning to work on a more advanced autonomous program.

Closing Notes

Thanks for reading another amazing blog post and if you don’t follow our Instagram or TiK Tok feel free to. See your next blog post.
