We had one of our most productive meetings to date today, with all of our teams making significant progress towards their goals. The build team added several supports to the structure, and mounted the first two of four pneumatic pistons to the bottom of the robot. These pistons will extend to allow the robot to reach the bar for the lifting challenge, and then retract, so the robot can suspend itself from the ground without any of its motors having to do the lifting.
Programming team, after finishing the task of programming the flywheels, started in on the Redline motors, which will be the ones controlling the rest of the robot’s wheel motions, while business spent the day revising a report for the competitions, animating the video for the Chairman’s Award, and getting a refund for a batch of off-center pins.
