Today saw another outstanding meeting, and as we progress toward the competition, we’re going to need as many of those as we can get. The build team added panels to the sides of the robot, which will function as walls, to protect the more delicate parts of the robot from harm, set up the pneumatic system, for the lift bar challenge, and prepared the electrics board for the final robot, meaning the programming team will be able to test on it as soon as construction on the lift bar is completed.
Meanwhile, the programming team spent the day working on the encoders. To do so, they began testing on Frank, the old test robot, and coordinated with the build team to work out a more precise timeline for what they need to code, and when. The business team worked on updating the website, created scouting forms, and coordinated with other teams, offering to let them use our field elements.
