Drive team moved the robot to a match, it was the third match of the day. The drive team switched up who was driving along with the human player. We scored points and went from 35th in the competition to 30th in this match.
The drive team is strategizing before the match to ensure that we win. They won this match. This coordination is what makes it possible to control the robot. Abdelraman Ahmed, a driver of the robot, said “the robot was hard to control but it was fun.” He also said that even though there were problems and difficulties with the robot, “it was a dream-like experience.”
This is our robot playing in a different match scoring 5 points for our alliance. Sadly, we ended up losing this match. The limelight (green light) is sensing where the robot is relative to the April tag (the black and white square).
