We’re glad that your child has decided to join our robotics team! There’s a few simple things that we need you to do before your child can participate in the competitive season, which will last from January to March.
Step 1 – Contact Information
We require all students to have an emergency contact on hand in case of an emergency. We’ll use this information to communicate with you.
You can opt out of optional communication, but we recommend you allow us to contact you for outreach & other things.
Step 2 – FIRST Dashboard
In order to compete in a FIRST competition, the organization requires you to sign up for an account and sign a waiver form allowing your child to compete. Without this signed, your child cannot compete in this year’s competition.
Use the same email that you used for the contact form.
Your child also needs to create a separate account – don’t create an account for them, they need to do it themselves. We’ll add your child into our system, but they need to add your email and contact details into their account separately. Once you’ve signed the waiver for your child, you’re all set!
