Hello everyone. Thank you for joining us once again. This will be our last update before the final competition of the season.
The Business Team: As we mentioned previously, the Business Team has finished the brunt of their duties; currently, they are focused on managing team-to-team connections and practices, as well as pre-competition preparation and fundraising. This last week, all of the spotlight is on the other two subgroups. After this competition, they plan on finishing up fundraising for the next year and preparing for some outreach opportunities.
The Build Team + The Programming Team : This week, Build is working in tandem with programming to appropriately manage their time and resources to improve the robot as much as possible in the little time we have left. For the most part, the Build Team will be swapping control of the robot with Programming, so that while one team has downtime or needs to research something, the other team can be chipping away at any potential advantages we could get. The Build Team is planning on reorganizing the room, as well as taking stock of all our materials and tools, which should help facilitate a potential room transfer for next year. Programming is focusing mainly on autonomous, however some problems with the drive train have delayed these plans. Despite these problems, our Programming Team is working really hard in the hopes that these autonomous changes can become reality.
