We had a quiet meeting today; a large portion of our team was out sick. However, we were still able to operate, so the build and programming teams spent the day working on the lift bar. We’re revising its programming, to try and make it more reliable, and considering a change in its design, to make it less bulky. The hopper wheel and loading system are both highly reliable, but the lift mechanism still needs work if we’re going to feel confident taking it to the next competition. Aside from that, we also fixed up some minor scratches the robot sustained during a match, and fixed up the code on the cameras, which were glitching at the competition.

Meanwhile, the business team started contacting local businesses and charities, in an effort to engage in some community outreach. The Portsmouth community is the only reason why we’re here today, and now that we’re back on our feet, it’s more important than ever that we give back to the community in every way possible.
