Priming the Chariots 11/14/22

Hello again, loyal followers, I hope you had a great day. Special thanks to Chris Dahlen for once again helping us today as the parental supervisor. Today was a hectic day for all the teams, and a productive one too.

The Programing team is hard at work

The programming team had a very productive day. Some members of the team worked on specific commands such as spinning a motor to exact degree measures. This prepares us for the build season when we will need to write a large volume of code in a short amount of time. Other members learned about the overall function of the motors giving us a wider range of expertise.

Meanwhile, the build team had a lot to do in a very short time, going from only one completed chariot to four in the span of just two hours. This keeps us on schedule to apply the paper mache coating on Wednesday, and race them on the 22nd.

Lastly, the business team worked on communicating with various technical and IT specialists to troubleshoot problems with the programming team. We also worked to chip away at the first few competition awards.

That’s all for today. Thanks for reading this post – we’ll see you on Wednesday!
